Is America's "Fear of Banks" Justified?
Not all banks are safe: 20 years ago today, on July 30, 1990, six members of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) were found guilty of money laundering. Over 200 banks failed each year between 1986 and 1991, during our seemingly endless banking and S&L crisis.
