FDIC ‘Problem List’ Grew 30% in Q2

U.S. FDIC insured banks are floundering. The entire group reported net income of $4.96 billion in the second quarter, down from $36.8 billion in the same quarter last year. And the FDIC’s ‘problem list’ of troubled banks grew from 90 in the first quarter to 117 in the second quarter, a gain of 30%.
